IPv6 Transition Techniques

Synopsis
Sometimes, deploying IPv6 isn’t that simple, and you may need to find a way to transition from IPv4 to IPv6. This tutorial will look at one of those transition techniques (464XLAT)in depth. Hands-on lab exercises will be included.
Target Audience
Technical folks who are building or operating a service provider or enterprise network and have or are deploying IPv6. This is not an introductory IPv6 Class and it is assumed that participants have a working knowledge of IPv6 and Routing.
Pre-requisites
- It is assumed that the workshop participants have a working knowledge of IP Routing, and IPv4/IPv6.
We recommend the following Academy courses be completed before the start of the tutorial:
- Routing Fundamentals: APNIC Academy
- IPv6 Overview: APNIC Academy
- This workshop is not an introduction. The lab exercises use Cisco CLI and Ubuntu VMs.

Requirements
- Hardware: It is highly recommended that participants bring their own laptop computers with admin rights.
